Objective: to conduct a comparative analysis of the effectiveness two methods – endoscopic band ligation (EBL) alone and in combination with nonselective beta blockers (NSBB) used for prevention variceal bleeding (VB); evaluate their impact on patient survival severe ascites during long-term stay liver transplant waiting list (LTWL).
